Intel, Taiwan to Develop Integrated Technology

Jakarta - Renee James, president of Intel Corporation, said that his company, along with Taiwan technology ecosystem, has started a collaborative innovation to deliver seamless and personal computing experiences.

According to James, processor technology will continue to become smaller with greater performance and lower power consumption, expanding the scale and potential for Intel technology and that of the Taiwan ecosystem, from infrastructure for cloud computing to personal and mobile computing and wearable technology.

"The lines between technolgy categories are blurring as the era of integrated computing takes hold where form factor matters less than the experience delivered when all devices are connected to each other and to the cloud," said James in a press release received by Tempo on Wednesday, June 4, 2014.
James explained that the collaboration is aimed at establishing smart and integrated computing devices. James said that Intel is committed to delivering a broad choice of SoC (system on chip) for smartphones and tablets that come in various prices, shapes and operating systems.
